Terms of Service

1. Engagement & Statements of Work

Every project undertaken by Sakura Technologies begins with a mutually agreed Statement of Work (SOW) or written Project Proposal detailing scope, deliverables, timeline milestones, and commercial investment. Any material modifications to the project scope requested during execution will be evaluated via a formal change order.

2. Intellectual Property & Code Ownership

We believe in complete client sovereignty. Upon final settlement of all agreed project milestone fees:

• Full Ownership: You retain 100% intellectual property ownership of all custom code, custom designs, database structures, and brand assets created specifically for your project.
• Pre-Existing Libraries: Standard open-source libraries (e.g. Node.js, Express, MIT-licensed utilities) remain subject to their respective open-source licenses.
• Zero Vendor Lock-in: We transfer full Git repository access, hosting control, and documentation directly into your infrastructure.

3. Payment Terms & Invoicing

Unless otherwise specified in your formal Statement of Work:

• Standard development projects operate on a milestone schedule (e.g., 50% mobilization deposit, 50% upon final user acceptance testing and prior to production domain cutover).
• Recurring maintenance retainers are invoiced monthly in advance and can be cancelled with 30 days written notice.
• We accept domestic NEFT/RTGS/UPI (India) and international wire transfers / Stripe / multi-currency credit cards (USD, GBP, EUR, AED, AUD).

4. Post-Launch Warranty & Defect Resolution

All bespoke development projects delivered by Sakura Technologies include a complimentary 30-day Post-Launch Warranty period commencing on the official deployment date. During this period, our engineering team resolves any technical bugs, browser compatibility defects, or functional discrepancies from the agreed SOW at zero additional charge.

5. Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure

Sakura Technologies treats all client operational workflows, business data, proprietary concepts, and user databases as strictly confidential under strict non-disclosure obligations. We will execute customized bilateral NDAs upon client request prior to discovery sessions.
